Where I’ve Been: Corporate Sell-Out Edition

Monday: Group lunch at Tribeca Grill.

Thursday: Somehow I get randomly selected (along with 15 other people) to participate in a lunch/Q&A session with the CEO. It was pretty cool but I asked a safe question given the context of the situation. It would’ve been more fun to grab a beer and pick his brain but I don’t see that invite happening anytime soon.

Thursday night: Attended a happy hour for an extracurricular networking group at work. It was good catching up with friends and meeting new people but also met a cad with a penchant for preppy attire and awkward banter.
