@ The Garden

On Wednesday evening, I kicked off my pre-birthday festivities by taking in the Knicks/Nets game at the Garden. Thanks to my bro who had comp seats through work, we were able to watch the game from a great vantage point.

Unfortunately, my favorite player Devin Harris was not in action due to an injury but that didn’t stop the Nets from dismantling the Knicks lackadaisical defense thanks to a vintage Vince Carter showing and inspired play from rookie Brook Lopez.

No great celeb sightings – they had a non-descript Giants player, Ethan Hawke, and Jay Mohr (who I believed the crowd booed!) on the jumbotron.

Also, we had the pleasure of hearing a drunk, obnoxious fan’s chants throughout. The only solace was that he was not sitting directly behind. Sadly, he could clearly be heard.
